Artistes give to charity at The Evening
Do you know which
two artistes will be giving to charity this December? Well, gospel singer, Yinka
Ayefele and comedian, Gordons, will thrill the audience as Virgin Marketing Communication, in association with
Spinal Cord Injuries Association of Nigeria (SCIAON) holds its annual charity
ball tagged: The Evening.
The event is scheduled to take place on Sunday,
December 7, at the Shell Hall of MUSON Centre, Onikan, Lagos. According to
Jasmine Onyemachi of the Marketing and Brand Communication Company,The Evening is specifically designed as
one of Virgin Marketing’s CSR events for men and women of style who want to
give a choice present to their associates.

She said: “This
year's event will be celebrating and awarding the spinal cord injury victims
through their association, SCIAON, and the award-winning Musician, Yinka Ayefele,
will speak and sing to the audience with his melodious sounds. We will also
have comedians and a host of other entertainment packages to make the night an
enjoyable fund raising event for our sponsors, partners and philanthropists.”
She hinted that guests
will be entertained by the MUSON Choir, a 50-man piece orchestra made up of
choristers, percussionists, horns men and strings.
She said fund raised
from the show will be donated to SCIAON to enable them provide homes, mobility
and medications for their members.
