
At first glance, the works are striking for their vibrant palette of luminous pinks, golds, reds and warm earth tones. Yet beyond their visual appeal lies a deeper conceptual framework. The exhibition's signature image, a fetus suspended within the womb, serves as both a biological and philosophical metaphor. Rather than presenting birth merely as a physical event, Idowu positions it as the beginning of cultural inheritance, memory and identity. The unborn child becomes a vessel carrying histories that predate individual existence, reminding viewers that every life begins within layers of collective experience.
One of the exhibition's most compelling qualities is the artist's distinctive mark-making.
